● Active tectonics, structural geology, geohazards, and subsurface fluid flow

● Natural Resources: gas hydrates, hydrothermal mineral deposits, groundwater

● Exploration and Engineering Geophysics: seafloor mapping, heat flow, ground penetrating radar (GPR), seismic and resistivity imaging
